Yesterday was my dads birthday. Holidays and birthdays are always the hardest when you aren’t close to home. I know he misses us and mostly his grand daughter who he only saw when she was two weeks old. So, I came up with an idea to send him a picture of baby girl saying happy birthday grandpa. Lovely thought I know, but if you have ever tried to get an 8 month old to sit still, while holding a sign than you understand it doesn’t work out that way.
Here is baby girl using the sign as a teether.
After 30 minutes, two signs and a bunch of fake coughing to get a smile. I got a few cute ones to send to my dad.
My dad thought it was the sweetest gift he has received.
